hi has anyone used one of these , and when they say modified exactly what is the diffrence to a standard oil pump , going on a p1 thanks kirby32

it is modified to avoid actuator valve sticking

it is modified to avoid the "pressure relief" valve sticking.

Minor mod but apparently has been a problem in the past with these oil pumps.

this sounds like a good mod. if its not a lot of work would i be able to mod the pump myself at home?
rebuilt loads of engines in the past even flat 4's but not messed with the scooby's yet.

what exactly causes the valve to stick?

failing that.. where can i get one of the modded ones and how much are they?
