Default Braided hose suppliers

Who is cheapest and most reliable for supplying metal braided hose and fittings for brake pipes and fuel lines? Not looking for pre-made ones, supply of materials only.

I have Goodridge Braided brake hoses on my Type-R.

Does anyone know what benefits theses have? (if any!)

Metal braided hoses have less give in them than rubber ones. This gives a more solid feel to the pedal as they don't expand as much (even though rubber ones only expand minute amounts).
