Injectors
I have the following spec:
Pfc mapped to 1.5bar
Bigger tmic
Walbro pump
550cc injectors
tdo5 16g turbo
Problem is on Full boost injectors nearly maxed out to 96%
Surley 550's should be good for at least 380bhp were as my car only produced 342bhp
Any ideas ??????????????

I have Denso 550s and mine is the same @ 348bhp.
Have hit 100% a couple of times.
I put it down to the FPR, Still using the o/e one.
p.s. Juliano, I thought you had an 18G TD05?

Depends on what AFRs you're getting with the IDCs, and the timing.
Are you 2 holding 1.5 all the way to the redline or does it taper off after 6k? Mine seems to fall to 1.2 bar even though the Dawes is set to 1.4

Without octane booster, and raised fuel pressure, 350hp on 550s is reasonable. If you were to start looking at octane booster, then another 25 or more hp may be possible. It's worth considering this when looking at other peoples results. Also, what was he IDC when actually on the Dyno making 347hp? I would guess that your car is holding more boost at the top end on the road rather than the dyno.

I thought that 550cc injectors were rated well above this? Ihave an MY96 STI with Decat full system, SUS power induction kit a MBC and Apexi SAFC.
I was going to get a V6 TMIC, 440cc injectors, Warlbro pump and SX regulator and an Apexi PFC.
I thought this little lot would see me 350bhp which is what I'm aiming for. Would I really need 550cc injectors to see 350bhp?????????????????????
Thanks!!

You have an uprated fuel pressure regulator, and can wind the fuel pressure up a little which will give you about another 8% headroom
The other thing that is being ignored here, is what AFR the cars are being tuned to. Both Andy's and Jul's cars are mapped to low 11s AFR, and they would make more power with leaner AFR and lower IDC, but with potentially high risk. Adding an EGT gauge would allow leaner AFRs to be run with some confidence, but at the top end you are still going to be running on the rich side to save pistons.
Perhaps these guys would also make much more power on different rollers!

Paul.
Very happy with my car. 348bhp/330ft/lb is about as good as anybody as had with a TD05 16G with 90deg entry.
Plus like you say, the guy operating the rollers said it was a little on the rich side, but thats how I would prefer. ( better safe than sorry ).Also said it was the best he had seen with that turbo.
Car was dynoed at Scoobyclinic and most had a lower reading than expected. except me
