My car hold about £40 woth of optimax and I am lucky if I get 200 miles out of that. Can anybody tell me if this seems right.

 

Type of car, mods, style of driving? My car will manage 250 miles on a full tank (60 litres) if I drive it like a ***** on the motorway. Driving hard on B roads, I can blow a tank on just over 100 miles.

my standard 99 turbo wagon is the same, 200 miles per tank roughly, bit more if i drive like a ***** at a steady 70 on motorways, but hey thats not what having a scoob is for!

 

Welcome to Scooby ownership, I average about 200 miles a tank, if i'm playing it can get down to 120 a tank!!

 

Mine holds about £45 - £50 worth of optimax at the prices i pay at the moment!! ...
... but doesn't seem to go much further- lol.

 

I drove from near edinburgh to Blackpool down the motorway i got about 250miles on a full tank. takes £50 to fill from empty over £1 a litre hear for super UL

However on short journeys its crap, and TBH its hard to drive anywhere without giving it a little clug. **phssssssss

i dont think any of us own scoobys for there fuel consumption

 

same for mean low 200's

 

My standard MY98 used to do @ 220 miles on a tank.

My modded bugeye WRX(280bhp) consistently gets 270 miles which works out @ 25mpg

Fairly sure they both hold the same amount of fuel at 50 litres

 

Sounds about right to me , dont worry about it.
