Ok all, was wondering...........

I recently bought my terzo and am very pleased with it, but, it was overboosting badly.

So after reading up on here about it, I cleaned the boost solenoid and it has cured the problem (many thanks to all!!!!). Now though it just doesn't seem as quick when you put your foot down....

So my question(s) is:-

Can a blocked boost solenoid actually increase boost?

Does the Diagnostics mode reset anything in the ECU?

 

A blocked boost pipe can increase boost, and i supose if the soleniod was blocked in the right place then, yes that could too.
