Default Run with lambda unplugged?

Can one run with the lambdasensor permanently unplugged (from wiring), seeing as this supposedly reduces hesitation at light throttle/low rpms?

I ran mine for some time disconnected. No ill effects afaik. You may not like the idle which become erratic.

most cars ignore the lambda above 3-4k because it doesn't react fast enough anyway.
