i have a 96 wrx which has had a zerosports chip in it, this was removed by the last owner. he gave me the chip when i bought the car but never thought about fitting it beause of ron rating.
However i was curious so had a look at the ecu, its been mapped 11 times by zerosports for a 7k. now that the chips out it will be reading the map from the ecu which is a 3b.
From what i understand a 7k is a sti ra ecu (my car does have a fifth injector) and a 3b is from a wagon, so does anybody know if i am losing power with this ecu? should i get a 7k ecu or can the zerosports chip be remapped?
thanks for any help.

Hi. If this chip is too agresive for you would you be intersted in a swap for my scoobyecu chip? It has been remapped for higher boost and fuel cut levels but is able to run on normal unleaded. It has been working fine on my car but I am after something more agresive to siut the mods I am doing. This could be a cheaper option for both of us as to remap these chips is around £380 plus two hours roller time (ouch).
Let me know.
Cheers.
