Hi, I have today fitted a P1 turbo to my99 wagon, whist I havn't booted it I gave it a little tickle and from a previous boost of approx 15psi it jumped to around 23psi before I shat myself and lifted, is this safe using the standard UK map with that amount of boost? I guess I should really now be looking to get this on a rolling road asap, can the standard Subaru ECU be re-mapped or will I also need to shell out for a new ECU?

As it's a 99 car, you shouldn't have any problems mapping it.

I guess I have probably done this all a bit wrong, should I also be upgrading anything else, eg fuel pump?

It wouldn't hurt to upgrade the fuel pump, but it doesn't have to be done.
Best speak to Bob Rawle of www.brdevelopments.com he is probably the closest and one of the best IMO.
Edited to say, he is based in Swindon.
