Default Tek 3 bugeye with vf35?

Is anyone running a wrx bug eye with vf35 turbo and tek 3 .Wondered if this is a worthwhile set up to reach around 300 bhp.I realise a 3 port boost solonoid + exhaust including up-pipe + up-graded fuel pump+induction kit would be needed, anything else? maybey bigger injecters?

It should work quite well, remembering that the Sti uses the VF35 in PPP form to make around 300hp. I would stick the standard airbox an use an uprated panel filter rather than get an induction kit, unless you can get a cold air induction kit to use in conjunction with the remap. The standard injectors will be pushed at 300hp but should just about manage.

No need for a 3 port solenoid valve, 2 port is more than adequate.
You can always fit an adjustable FP reg on the standard injectors and uprated pump for enough fuel flow to satisfy 340bhp.
Just beware of the VF35 boost creeping at higher rpm when run on a decat exhaust.

Where have you guys stopped with IDC's on the WRX using EcuTek - with VF35 I run 115% IDC with nothing untoward. Clearly IDC calcualtion is a little out

Thank's guy's,sound's like a sensible mod for a daily driver.Looking to add a bit more excitement to the bugeye as it feel's half asleep and need's waking up!!.
Andy i have a prodrive downpipe to replace the o/e one will this help to eliminate the boost creep due to it having sports cat.

Mike, if you use the full prodrive system then boost creep should not be an issue, the PPP system generates enough backpressure to keep the turbo under control.

Richard, if you reduce the fuel map values to achieve 100%idc you will not run any leaner or richer ! Anything over 100% is still in effect 100%

Have now secured a TD05 16g instead of vf35, what up-pipe would be the best to go with this?
Andy will the fueling set up you suggested stay the same for this turbo.

On a bugeye the std two port setup is restictive for boost, needs a pipework mod, VF35 is always prone to creep whatever the circumstances and so should be ported before fitting, best mod is to convert it to a VF34.

Most people change injectors for STi variety (new age car's) to avoid injector issues.

I have a newage WRX with a VF34 & full decat which was mapped by Bob with the standard injectors (running 90% DC) and the last figures i had were 336bhp & 315lbs torque

I don't have any problems tuning on the OE 2 port on my MY03 WRX, it is currently running 378 bhp and 355lbft of torque on a TD05-18g with full boost from 3200 rpm. This is on an Sti intercooler, std induction box and ported OE headers.

Mike- Your fueling will still be fine with the earlier recommendations, I'd use an H&S uppipe.
