Just had an email from Simon, who has answered my quesiton: ![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
there is basically only three versions of the PFC.
92~96
97~98 - The one i have for sale HERE
99~00
So my Powerfc will only fit a MY97/98....doesn't help but there you go..

medium hassle to swap and then swap back, might be better left for when it is mapped.

your car being an STi3 and therefore JDM it will plug straight it, the uk car only needs the pins moving.

When i bought the car, it had a Powerfc which was controlling the boost. Over time i started modding the car, and decided i wanted an AVCR, at the begining it was for the looks, though it turned out to be very functional...

The Powerfc has its own 3 port soloniod, and a boost control kit.
The AVCR, came with a 3 port soloniod also, so the powerfc was disconneced and the avcr was pluged in..though the AVCR is now proviosionally sold..

Sam,
Would you be willing to part with the Boost control kit (MAP sensor and Solenoid) seperately from the ECU? After all MY97/98s don't really need it.

Andrew...
Depends...i will 1st have to sell the Pfc, as its prooving rather difficult at the mo, and without the bits, i think it would be impossible.
Just re read your post...i have now a guy who is intrested...once he confirms i will ask him to ask his mapper.. then let you know..
Can you please pm me how much you would pay? (so that i can offer that much of a reduction to the guy hopefully wanting the pfc.
Sam

Quick Question:
I have the following now that are out of the car, ready to be sold:
Powerfc Hand Commander + Apexi Holder
Boost control Kit
ECU
Soloniod
The soloniod has a little connector on it, i was little confused as to what this connects to..? have i forgotten to take something out from the car? or does this connect to the same plug as the standard Boost Soloniod?

connects to the standard boost solenoid wiring.. just depends how it was wired as to whether it retains the standard plug or the Apexi plug.. but as you have plugged a standard solenoid in, we can fairly safely assume it has a standard plug on the boost solenoid you have there ready to connect into another Subaru.. if you take a picture though we can confirm.. also what you are calling the Boost control kit I assume is just the MAP sensor..
the MAP sensor and the boost control solenoid go together to make the boost control kit.

nope that is the original MAP sensor..
the PFC MAP sensor and another 3port boost solenoid like the one for the AVC-R go together to make up the boost control kit..
the spade connector to the ECU is just for the MAP sensor for the boost control kit.. the 3port solenoid part connects to the original loom.
I expect you don;t have a second 3port solenoid.. it is probably still in the box the AVC-R came in as you had a boost control kit with one fitted to the car already..
