Default Zorst and Re-map

I am looking to have my first mod on the scoob ,
Full zorst is what i am after no cats and the downpipe , The problem is from what i hear if i do this i will have to get a re-map done so that my car dosent Detonate ??? * apparently very dull * and overboost ???

So would i be right in saying that if i take my car to get a zorst will it have to be mapped straight away.

I would like to keep my origional ecu as i beleve its tuneable enough with a zorst replacement???

I spoke to a guy and he said they delt with MOTECH management and they would charge me like 2 grand to install new management ??

And can anyone tell me where i can have my origional ecu mapped once i change the zorst in Scotland , idealy as close to Edinburgh as possiable would be a bonus.

Oh the car is a euro import 03 WRX STi

Chris.

If you're in Scotland then www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk is all you need to know for Subaru. Andy.F is (in)famous and will be able to offer advice and/or a remap. Although some diagnostic time and a change of restrictor may be all you need to get going.
