How restrictive is a MY97 STI3 back box?
I'm trying to maintain the originality of the look of the car while making subtle performance enhancing modifications, exhaust (downpipe and centre catted section), remap and fuel pump.
The back box is fine at the moment and an original (single pipe) embossed STi one. How restrictive is this and how much of a hinderance will it be compared to a decent aftermarket one. Should I take the plunge?

I could post it for £100 or you could collect it for £75 (mid-sussex area).

Thanks for the offer Jonnyh, but I'd be inclined if replacing it, to go for the single pipe rather than the double (which I think was standard on UK models). If I change my mind though I let you know. Original post now updated to say that it is single rather than double exit, should have given the full sotry in the first place!
