what makes you say that?

 

the performance gain vs the money you have to spend to achieve it means that you would spend way more than the difference in price between a sport and a turbo which will still always perform better anyway!

a supercharged sport you might be looking at about 190bhp? a basic standard turbo is already 208 or 215 in a classic, so why bother?

 

As Neilo says really. The cost to do it outweighs the cost of a turbo.

 

on the plus side tho, ud have a car which performed pretty well for the cost of a sport. for insurance im thinking!

 

i dont think the insurance company would take too kindly if you mentionned the word "supercharger" on the mods list.....theyd still pull your pants down and aim for penetration....
