Grinding noise on gear change??

Hi
Have posted this is general chat but thought I might get better response here.
Have just purchased a MY99 UK Turbo (only covered 31,000 miles).
Have noticed that when I am changing gear while at high revs (say from 2nd to 3rd) I can hear (and feel through the clutch pedal) a kind of grinding noise. It's hard to explain but it tends to be when the clutch is fully depressed or just on its way back.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
