Default Standard DV broken

Not sure how it happened, but the small tube on my DV has snapped off.

The car still drive but idles badly.

My question is firstly how much is a standard DV?

and will i do any damage if i still drive the car for the car till the weekend?

I assume you drive an RB5?
Stick a post in wanted and find someone who has fitted an aftermarket dv. Chances are that they will let you have it for a few quid. There maybe someone even who will give you one as they ain't worth jack on the second hand market

Exactly the same happened to me earlier this year (MY99). GGR sell standard DV's for about 70 pounds, however I went the forge recirculating route for about 125 pounds - nice piece of kit. As for driving, with the small tube detatched, air will be bleeding into the inlet manifold (hence the poor idle), so block off the pipe to prevent this. As the DV now won't "dump", try to avoid lifting off suddenly when on boost, as this will try to stall the turbo, instead lift off gradually.
