Hi everyone,

took my car off the road and waiting for my new apexi ecu to arrive, now i know it comes with a basic map, now is it possible for just to start my car up ( to warm it up and keep it running)
only reason im asking is because i now have a wait for new mods and could be even a month!!

Assuming its a UK car then you (or I ) need to change a few wires to get it to run. I would recommend not fitting it until it's ready for mapping. In addition to the wire swap the original maps are designed for a JDM car of that year which has a different spec engine and is designed for 100 octane fuel.

As AndyF says, I believe the Cam and Crank sensor wires need to be swapped over when you put the Power FC into A UK car.

Listen to Andy, he knows his stuff ( and he proved it today)
