Default do i need a remap???

ive got a w reg imprezza turbo with a full decat, ported headers, greddy up pipe and an airbox mod.sumone has told me that i must get a remap so that i dont get boost creep. is this true? ive spent loads on my car and i would be gutted if i damaged the engine. if i do need a remap how much would it cost and wat type of differance would i get from it? sorry if this question has been asked before. any advice would be well apreciated.

best bet get remap, if you've done alot like that would scrimp on things like that, depends where you take it how much, i payed about £900 for mine which is a full tech 3 incrased from 215 with partial decat (still got cat in turbo down pipe) to 240, will be approx 260ish once other cat is out.

scoobyclinic did mine, www.scoobyclinic.com, did a top job, no overboost even in -4 the other night

I had a higher spec than that on my my00 before i got it mapped.... .. it's really when/if you start using higher boost and getting loads more air into/out of the thing that you need to get it mapped..... but, if you intend to go further with it, get it mapped, that way, when you fit more mods you don't need to pay the full fee again, just mapping time.
