Decat Downpipe on Newage
I have tried searching the dozens of threads already but can't find the right info.
I have just bought a Decat Downpipe for my 05 wrx and it has only one hole for the lambda/02 sensor. Is this right, because I thought there should be two holes needed. If this is the case what problems will it cause?
Cheers

I fitted a tubular manifold to my bugeye thus removing the pre-cat which is in the up-pipe to the turbo. Result 'Check Engine Light' playing hockey kockey, ie on/off. whether fitteing a de-cat downpipe will do the same not sure but I know scoobysport did do a box to trick the rear lambda sensor so that the ECU thought all ok. Maybe worth fitting and having a word with local MOT garage to see if you can put it on the gas analyser to see if it still passes the MOT.

sounds like you have one of those downpipe/center decat pipes as one piece. I changed the second cat (the one with the sensor in) and it made the performance worse on the car. I think the Downpipe with the open neck improves it but you might recieve the engine light as you are removing all the CAT's after the turbo.

If you de-cat your wrx i would get a re-map also .It would be agood idea to change the up pipe while you are at it .Scoobyclinic did my 03 wrx good price and 282bhp. My de-cat pipe as only one censor.
