Smile Didn't realise how bad my radiator was until...

...I bought a new one

Obviously I didn't buy a new one without good reason. A cracked old one will do for starters

Anyway I removed the old one:

I then opened the box to the new one:

OMG the difference No bent fins & looking actually quite bling instead of black from years of use

Replaced the thermostat as well whilst I was at it:

£95.00 - New radiator
£10.00 - New Thermostat

Money well spent if you ask me

I thought so You can get anything on fleabay

Well at least my car is back on the road. Last weekend wasn't the best:

1) Blow-out FNS tyre going down the A1
2) Jammed Thermostat
3) Cracked radiator
4) Battery as dead as a dodo

All sorted now though

Hey Simon whilst I remember to ask. A dead battery for a week wouldn't screw the map up at all would it? 99% thinks I wouldn't have thought so but I need to satisfy that 1% before I floor it

Hey MAFFA

Did u find any issues after the SC RR day?
Anything u think might have affected ure result.
I suppose running hot due to a cracked radiator wouldn't have helped.
Hope all is well now though

Dan.
