I have just purchased my first Subaru, and it seems a much better car than my previous BMW 328i sport and Golf GTI Turbo (Chipped).
I am over the moon with it, but have two queries.
1. When I blip the throttle the revs don`t seem to drop back down as quickly as on the other two cars.....is this normal? The car runs fine otherwise.
2. The car has been run on ordinary unleaded.can I now use Optimax, or the like, without doing any thing to the mapping etc?
Cheers for any help,

1:- Not driven any of the other 2 cars so can't comment. If it revs freely enough though and drives okay, I wouldnt worry.
2:- You can use optimax or super unleaded without mapping. You would only really need to map for fuel if the car was originally mapped for optimax (ie 98 ron) and you then used normal unleaded 95 ron then you would have more chance of det as the map would probably be a bit agressive for the normal unleaded.
