Hi Guys. To all those who have fitted the newer alloy header tank to an older scooby how did you do it?
What hoses and how was the tank orientated? A pic would be great.
Thank you and a Merry Christmas.
Cheers. Mark.

the holes are in different position plus the hoses are different/ I had to fabricate a small alloy plate and drill it to suit/you will also need to visit a scrapyard and pickup longer pipes take care to get the same diameter of pipes though.

I had an alloy bracket made up and fixed the header tank that way. As for the hoses, you will need slightly longer ones. I 'borrowed' some fuel line hose (brand new) from work and cut them to size.
I don't know how to post pics.

Thank you guys. It was more the hose issue that was worrying me. A trip to the scrapies I think.
Sorry Harvey. Didn't mean to shout. Eyesights not what it used to be
Cheers. Mark.
