Default PPP Sports Cat

Hi,

Does anyone know if the original downpipe cat heat shield on a bugeye WRX fits onto an STI PPP sports cat?
If not, will I need to heat wrap the sports cat.

Thanks in advance.

The Prodrive sports cat comes with its own heat wrap so as long as you have that, no need to do anything else

I'm looking at buying this one which doesn't appear to have any wrap on it. What do you think?

There's been quite a few unwrapped d/pipes on the market in the last couple of months. I don't know whether they were destined for Prodrive who wrap them or the dealer does it when the PPP is fitted. The wrap blanket is tightly crimped on.
For the sake of making sure the cat is warm for the MOT, plus any heat that escapes from it doesn't warm up the engine bay & IC, a proper heat blanket would be worth while fitting.
