Default Engine Smoke (again)

After having both rocker cover gaskets done 1 month ago, which stopped the dreaded bonnet smoke, smoke has reappeared from the bonnet scoops. Being a mid London owner with a lowered car aprked on the roadside, I can't get under the car to look, but its coming from the same place as last time - up from under the heat shields on the back of the engine directly behind the turbo. That smell started about 2 weeks ago, and now the smoke - almost worse than before the rocker gaskets were done.

Could it be a bad job on one of the gaskets?

Can anyone suggest what this may be, and also of any mechanics in the London area worth a crack, as regrettably in this weather I am going to have to pay someone to investigate the cause, then reapir it.

FYI MY98 PPP Wagon with 83.5 miles on the clock

Cheers
