Default best petrol for p1

whats the best petrol to put in a P1 sub. 97 ron or 98 ron?

Use optimax as much as you can and if you have the money use octane booster too.

DONT PUT CHEAP CRAP IN IT

thanks

ive heard that the p1 ecu isnt mapped to optimax... so i was just wondering if i should still put it in,

My P1 when it was standard never ran anywhere near as well on 97 BP ultimate as it did on 98 Optimax. Never been in the position to try Tesco, some people like it, some dont.

Its acutally not mapped to any UK fuel, its mapped to 100 ron fuel as this is really a V5 STi map, they put broquets or the likes in the fuel tank to increase the octane of the fuel added, you MUST run a P1 on 97+ ron fuel, optimax is 98+ so its advisable to run a higher octane fuel.
