Default TD05 vs VF34 Turbo Help !!!!!!

Any ideas, the car is a 05 WRX i have already carried out the following mods: full decat system with open neck waste gate, upgraded actuator, ECUTEK tec 3 ReMap [scooby clinic] AEM induction Kit, Baily DFV12 Dump Valve, it's currently mapped at 280.04 HP & 266lbft, the next thing is to upgrade the Turbo, which turbo performes best ?????? do i also need to upgrade the injectors from standard to something like 565cc [Pink] STi's ?? and what sort of HP & Torque drive dynamics can be expected from these two turbo's, for's & Against's please.

I have a VF34 on my 2004 WRX wagon, that with a full decat STi intercooler and remap by Bob Rawle i got 336bhp & 315lbs torque , i didn't change the injectors and when it was being mapped Bob said they were running at 90% so weren't maxing out , i've just had some ported & wrapped standard headers fitted and these have made the turbo spool up about 500rpm sooner (from about 2500rpm) and boost quicker

Id get the pink STi injectors even to be on the safe side otherwise you will be maxing your standard 380cc injectors with any one of those turbo's.

Cant comment on the turbo as I have a VF28 which i get 310bhp out of, but im sure with any of the turbo's you thinking of should get you well over the 300bhp mark.

Cheers guys, Granby how much difference is there by changing the intercooler ?? someone as said the VF34 runs out of steam Early, is this what you have found, i'm looking to improve low to mid range power, and have you had any problems with the gearbox taking the extra torque ??

Not sure how much difference the intercooler makes but i thought it can't do any harm (as i was aiming for over 300bhp) and it is quite a bit bigger than the WRX intercooler, don't know who told you about the VF34 runs out of steam as it pulls all the way to the redline unlike the standard TD04, i would recommend getting the headers done as it makes the turbo spool up sooner and there have been no problems with the gearbox so far (finds a big piece of wood to touch )
