Default carbon cannister removal

just done vta mod to my scoob does anyone know how to remove the carbon cannister from the engine system as am thinking about cold air intake and building a sheild for air intake and the room could be benificialto the size of the filter used

Does your carbon canister have two or three pipes going into it...??

mines got three but thats what i want to hear in my car wwwwwrrrrrrrrrggggghhh!!!!!!!!

Mine had three aswell.. what i basically did, was remove the pipe that comes form one of the boost pipes, and obviously bock off where it came from, block off the one that goes to the inlet pipe, and then tee the other two together..... i know that makes four, but it makes sense when you do it.... oh, on the third leg of the tee, put another length of pipe and run it into the chassis rail..... works fine on mine.....

got any pics i understand thr first two but wants the third to the chassis rail?

Under the canister is a vent pipe, basically the one into the chassis rail simply vents any vapour that gets that far from the tank..... will take pics tomorrow eve if i remember....

What you can just about see in this pic, is the blue pipes, the two on the right are connected to hard metal pipes, one has a valve thingy in it..... these are tee'd together into the other piece of pipe, which normally is poked into the chassis rail, i pulled it out to photograph it..... you can also see that i have blocked the pipe into the inlet.....
