Decat STI exhast on ebay
Have decatted the downpipe and was thinking of doing the full system.

Surely that can't be right, if that was so all sti owners would decat downpipe and change the end box?
What do you think?
On another note if i had a full decatted system on a imported sti could there be a risk of it buggering up the engine ie it running lean or rich.

JDM cars don't need 2 cats to pass their emissions tests and just have a silencer in the centre section. The center section is still quite restrictive though, which is why most change it.
Either get suitable gauges or get your car checked/re-mapped after decatting to make sure its running ok. Or yes you could face a big bill.

Yep just to confirm all JDM classics (WRX or STI) only had one cat, in the downpipe.
