does the scooby have spark plug gaskets?
And Im not so sure about bolt seals either.
When I did mine Im sure it was just a one piece gasket on each side (99 phase2 uk car).
Squirt of gasket sealent all the way round the original gasket and bolt it up nice and tight.
£10 well spent imho

Majority of the times it is the driver side r/c gasket, a friend had his done last week for 50 pounds including the gasket.

To the above yes the scoob has 4 spark plug seals and 12 bolt seals these should be replaced when the main cover gaskets are changed as they will be old and squashed and may start to leak once all put back together , best to do it right first time , just make sure the sealant is high temp stuff got mine from AS performance next day delivery , otherwise it will dry ouy and crack due to the heat , only needs a smear.
