Ive owned a 03 STI for about 6 months now ,
When traveling at speed i get a very loud humming droning noise like from the front scoop.
Its very loud and i thought the car was gona fall to bits due to my lead boots.

Any of u guys find that the air flow thru the scoop gets noisy.

when i say at speeds , i do mean at speeds.

Yes mate, thats normal they all do it, there is a thread on here somewhere about why Evos are faster top end and it went into some detail about wind noise drag etc.

I assume your doing 150+ (on private road of course) when this happens, loud drumming noise and bonnet looks like its going to open, when i get my car back i will be getting RCM panel to remove mine, i will post noise/speed results before and after when i do.
