i currently have a blitz vta dv on but doesnt make much noise :S so swapped it with my forge dv vta but makes exactly the same noise
not much of a psssssssssh its just kinda i dunno how to explain the noise but not what i know the forge can do.
i have a pic of how i installed it, is it correctly fitted? is there anything else i need to do. ive heard of blocking pipes off but dunno with one?
and also the dv is open on idle im sure it never used to be on my punto turbo :S

Ive just wrote a post about dump valve make, Ive got a Baileys and sounds good, I tryed a Forge the other night and it didnt sound very good, was only working when I went high rev's.
On mine ive got the slim samco vacum hose, your pipe coming off the dump valve is really long compaired to mine, theres a big pipe coming from the air filter if you follow it there should be a hole thats blocked up.
If you want i'll go take a picture of mine if you like, no trouble at all ?

Fingers crossed i'll find one, if push comes to shove i'll just get one from a scrappy of an old scooby and wait till next week till I get a Samco one

As for pointers am no pro LOL, just knew a few bits and bobs.
Theres a place in Gateshead called Revolution, I payed £55 for a fitting kit for my dump valve, bit of a rip off like but I needed it desperado.
Heres how i've got mine set up, if I've got mine down Shields on Sunday bring a screw driver and you can try my Baileys, see if it makes a difference.

You can just see where i've got my bung on the left hand side of the dump valve, my vacum hose is the skinny one, see how short it is from the dump valve to the pipe ? maybe your is loosing pressure with it being so long, no idea tho

EDIT: Actually looking at your pipe, why dont you try chopping it down a little, so its only small, might make more pressure ?
