Unhappy error 42 ?

hello people , my scooby is a bit sick bairly made it home and found error 42 from the ecu. anyone know what it is and how to fix ??

42 is idle switch not sure how to fix reset the ecu and see it comes up again

just reset my ecu still have error 42 an car drive like s&!t, sound from the engine is like someone blowing into a bottle any ideas ???
could it be a problem from the dv?

Try clean the TPS, throttle position sensor, it sits on top of the throttle body, take it out and clean with some brake cleaner, check the wiring, then clear the error codes and see how it acts up

I missed the blowing into a bottle sound you mention, check for loose hoses, split hoses around the turbo area, does sound like you have a leak somewhere

where did u get erroe 42 from?? ecu etc

throttle switch on a my95 is on the accellerator pedal.

If you look up into the driver's footwell, you will see a microswitch in the pedal box, which is operated by the throttle pedal.

This should click on/off whre releasing/pressing the pedal.

Check the switch for correct operation and continuity.

i tought that error 43 was the trottle switch could this still sffect it ?

sounds like you have a hose off / split .
