Location of Knock sensor please?

my97 uk turbo 2000. Am i right in saying the factory fitted Knock sensor is on the engine block just under the Alternator?

no, at the back of the engine, slightly under the inlet manifold to the passenger side of centre...............

hes right ! if you take off your intercooler you will see it plain as day just about on top of the 3rd piston
