![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Does anyone know what the thread size and type is in the engine block where the oil sensor is ( under the alternator )?
I am due to put in some guages that I bought recently and the new sensor is too big to go where the origional one is, so I need to put a 'T' piece in.
can anyone help me please as this would save a lot of time,
I have a 2001 WRX,
Many thanks, Hans.

The thread size in the bung is 1/8npt, but you will need to fit a remote t-piece if you are going to retain the original oil pressure switch for the dash light as there is not enough room under the alternator for a fixed tee. Demon Tweeks sell them for about £14 i think. Hope this helps.
