Torque settings
What are the torque setting for a wheel nut?

I presume you are after the values for alloys. For the bugeye 17" i use halfway on the recommended figure which is about 85 NM.

65ft/lb is the value your after for wheel nuts.................

Thankyou. Will a woman be able to free the wheel nut at that torque. My wife had a blow out a few weeks ago and could not get the wheel nuts off.

If she's still having trouble getting your nuts off, then she could probably do with a longer tool. (More leverage)

at that torque the wheels should be no issue...............if they are put on by a hi-torque gun by monkeys then no-one stands a chance!!
