Default maf question

hi iv got a my99 uk wagon and recently while traveling at 30 mph the car feels like the brakes are coming on and off just perceptable a sort of holding back for a split second then normal then doing it again its there all the time in a regular pattern but more noticably when cold i have read about the maf problems on my age of car and was wondering if this could be early signes of trouble it runs great in all other circumstances oh and iv just fitted new disks so its not a warped one thanks struv

My MAF went a couple of years ago and i knew it had coz the tickover was all over the show ie the revs kept rising and falling away again [almost stalling]
Hope this helps

My MY98 did this and it was the lambda that was causing it.

If you are thinking about replacing the MAF then do this at the same time.
