Zero Sports Air Intake Pipe

Has anyone on here fitted one of these, and in particular to a MY99 classic?
Just got one, and there's no hole in it for the little black canister that pushes in to the OE pipe.
Any ideas?
Thought I'd just drill a hole large enough to push fit this "thingy" into.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Thingy" was the Rochester valve. Not sure what it does, but fitted it anyway by drilling a hole in the intake pipe.
Pleased with the overall job, but took longer than expected. Removed a K&N induction kit first, and replaced the std airbox with a Zero Sports filter and the ZS intake pipe. Was two steps forward, one back, but got there in the end.
Best of all, car started fine afterwards. Always a bonus I find!
Had a problem with one of the bolts on the K&N kit, where the steady bar fastens to the header tank. The head sheared off the bolt, so had to drill and tap it out. What a 'mare
Finally going to be able to start using it again soon, as it's been laid up at my uncles while I move house. Off to Donnington next Sat, so should be good.
