Default lamda sensor

I will be changing my lamda sensor tomorrow or tuesday and was wondering how to go about fitting it.
By the looks of it it is gonna be quite fiddly due to lack of room so would it be a hell of alot easier to remove the intercooler and fit it?
Or is it best to just try and fit it with the intercooler still on?
Cheers for any help

Anyone fit a lambda sensor themselves before?

Probably safest to remove the intercooler and the upper turbo heat shield - if only to protect your knuckles. There is limited room and the Lambda is usually quite tight in it's fitting and requires a bit of leverage to get it loose. In which case it 'll separate suddenly with a good chance of you catching a sharp edge somewhere.

Intercooler removal is a fiddle rather than hard to do.
