please help, think i've killed my ra
I think she's dead..or dying. I do'nt know if this has had any effect on the problem but last week i changed my panel filter for a large K&N and one of those small bonnet scoops.
Anyway left the car a station this morning and it was running fine, got back tonight started it up, left it ticking over for 5 mins, set off up the bypass at 40mhp till i got to the roundabout and it was warm.
I then pulled out to overtake a wagon and wack it was like i hit a brick wall. I thought it was the fuel cut but it was doing it every gear. There was also a strange clicking noise coming from the drivers side at the same time.
Now it is running like its on 3 cylinders the whole car is shaking and it has no power. There is also a strange noise from the exhaust as though its dropped a valve(just a guess)
One other thing i forgot to add it was parked up hill and its been raining all day, could water have got into the filter.
This is the last straw really as i have just spent neally 900 quid on a new clutch when that failed last month. Her in doors says no more if it dead it goes please help

When I had my classic I had a small scoop and putting my foot down it did what you said and when I got home had a look round and could not see anything wrong. I had a 57i K&N Induction Kit below the little scoop. I think it had been raining as well. Anyway I took it off and all was well. I think it was the rain that must have created problems.
Hope from what your saying it is the same thing.
