As above folks, may need one or the other this week depending on how engine checks go today.

really depends on the model year. The last of the classics ( 99/00 ) had a 'cheap' MAF sensor ( which is handy as it's so effing fragile ). Earlier and later models will indeed be significantly more ...

RCMS supplied the last two MAF Sensors I needed. Bob Rawle Developments also have some of them.
99/00 M/Y is a cartridge that inserts in the MAF tube. costs about £80 plus vat plus dly.
M/Ys 93-98 have the MAF sensor in the MAF tube and is an integral part, enclosed during the molding process. With VAT and postage these are over £200 plus and there are several different types.

I think it was a miss on the 'shift' key there (shift + 3 = £).

Sorry for the typo and thanks for putting it right guys.

A means of testing MAF Sensors, other than trying them on a car would be useful as buying second hand is a bit like buying a pig in a poke. I have four here, 2 X STi 3 and 2 X WRX M/Y 95 or 96 , I think but I cannot offer for sale as I do not know if they are OK.

I'm in Wetherby 276
For what it's worth, i usually get my maf's (new one every 18 months or so) from Scoobyclinic for around £85. Have had them for similar money from the main dealer in the past.
Loads of places have them - API, RCMS etc
