Default Air con question?

Can I jus remove the belt if I am not using the air con or will this have an adverse affect?

Don't know. But I do know that if your air con is on and you floor it, the ECU automatically shuts the aircon off anyway to divert all power to where you want it.

Does that mean that when the belt is conected and ac not running that the pully is free spining and only when the air con is turn on, there is a load?
If that is the case no need to remove the belt I guese. (unless u wana save the belt life!)

Yeah theres a magnetic clutch that engages the compressor, when AC is switched off the clutch disengages and all u have is a free wheeling pulley. No need to take belt off.
