opinions on gear oils?

Default opinions on gear oils?

i am thinking on using the red line heavy shockproof 75w90 in my gearbox and redline 75w90 differential oil in my rear diff.my car is a version 6 type R which has 398.6 bhp/387ftlb.
whats your opinions of these oils,im not looking for the cheepest oil but the best i can get.
what would you use?

Good choice, also consider Castrol syntrax

Silkolene can be 'too slippy' in the gearbox and cause some crunching of gears. Well did in my old Type R
