Hey everyone, I'm proud to say I've just bought my 1st Impreza and I'm so happy with It!! Does anyone know roughly how much i should be paying for the 60,000 cam belt change on a Y reg 01 WRX? Cheers all!!

If it's a new age bugeye, the cambelt should have been done at the 50,000 mile service or 60 months (whichever comes first). You should find all the info. and lists about what's done and when at each '10,000 mile/yearly interval service' in the owners manual and service book.

The 'Services and Warranties Booklet' (dark navy blue cover) can look a little confusing. If it's the same edition as mine, you should consult Page 18 if you have a turbo model - see Page 18, headed 'H6 New Impreza WRX Turbo......'
I think you will find that 60,000 mile cambelt change interval is for 'Normally Aspirated (non-turbo) models' (see booklet page 20).

How much it costs is gonna depend on what you replace... think the cam belt is about £60-£70... although you may need to replace tensioner's etc???
On MY00 uk turbo I got away with just a cam belt, tensioners were fine... had it serviced too, but I think for the cambelt and labour was around £150 quid mark???
