I'm a bit worried about that too.
Currently running an Apexi induction kit but have been told that it'll get a bit restrictive with my next batch of mods. Can barely shut the bonnet as it is.
Oh yeah, part number?

Think mines a Blitz induction kit... really struggle to shut the bonnet since the FMIC was fitted... the Blitz is quite fat, hopefully it should be abit easier when I trim abit more of the inner wing out to allow the pipe work and induction kit sit lower???

Be careful if you are running a Hybrid FMIC (Neilo) and a MAF based ECU.
The filter is too big to shut your bonnet as it has to go over the FMIC pipe. You can shorten the induction hose only so much before the MAF connection hits the header tank.
Your only real course of action are rotate the Maf housing through 180 degreees and lengthen the connector wires, or get a smaller induction kit.

Playsatan, if your turbo is going to be clocked then one of the big K&N filters and aluminium trumpets from Lateral Performance or RCMS.
If its not going to be clocked, ie standard position, then i would suggest you get the K&N Filter, Trumpet with MAF facility, and Turbo Intake pipe from RCMS.
All excellent quality kits

I ended up seling my Big K&N, (RCM kit) and putting a normal 57I size filter on. could have used the big one with long wires, but to get enough clearance it protruded so far into the engine bay that i had no room to make an effective cold air box.
interim measure was MAF stuck up in the air, shortened inlet pipe and the wires untaped from the loom to give a bit more play. The RCM filter was hard on the bonnett and FMIC pipe like this though.

with a 57I filter on, all the clearance is back and MAF in o.e position. Have seen a 490BHP classic with this filter so dont think flow will be a problem

just went back to look at the measurements and its a little smaller than i thought, 178mm wide, 76mm inlet (standard width i think) and 152mm long
so it MAY fit, i hope it does....then ill figure out how to better protect it from the heat a bit.
I cant get any pics of the FMIC installed as the only copy i have is on a pdf!
