Hiya guys, can anyone identify the following part? Its located just after the speed sensor on the gearbox... I'm wanting to confirm if its the gizmo to convert kilometres to miles

Is it actually inline with the speed sensor?

If not it could be the reverse light switch?

 

in the picture just above the gizmo is the speed sensor yes its in line about 3 inches from the sensor, the connection is covered by the black tape... hope that helps..
