Default is this oil cooler any good?

the one that is on ebay for £135
(for some reason this comp wont let me paste a link ???? weird!!!!)

but if ya type in "impreza oil cooler" it comes up.

any info apreciated.

You will only need an oil cooler if your oil temps are running over 100 deg centigrade. You will have to flush out the pipes and cooler everytime you change your oil and will need to prime the system before starting your car for the first time

thanks for letting me know about the flush prime thing, i didnt know that


as for 100+ oil temp erm
well that is why im fitting it........ i think i got my oil to over 125 last time i went for a play.
the next thing i know my engine went dugga dugga dugga ........lol

also is it worth bypassing the standard oil cooler wen i have this one fitted?

Blimey, looking at going down this oil cooler road - dont think I've got much choice if track days are on the cards....but hey...

Do people with these really flush the oil out of the pipes and rad each time and then prime before running (how do you easily prime a rad fitted to a sandwich plate)?
