As far as I know, but dont quote me...

The conversion costs about £200 and can be done by the likes of Scooby Clinic or similar others.

The main advantage being that the pipework is reduced meaning a decrease in the amount of lag.

if you have good pipework then you wont really notice much difference at all...so not really worth the effort IMO

With your Phase 1.5 manifold Steve you'd need to get a wedge made for the throttle body so the pipework clears the bonnet.
Then there is the alternator that needs moving to one side (no good if you want to keep the aircon, even more work if you do)
Other than a few fuel line and vacuum hose changes there isn't much else to it.
Easy for me to say I know.

Be sensible with the intercooler pipe runs and I cant see it making a jot of difference.
with my outlet pipe running under the engine it's a much nicer run than the loopy bollox you see with the standard FMIC kits !
Those engines look a flippin mess IMO.

Andy:
Totally agree!
Where did you get your 'under the engine' pipe from?

I have just installed a Hybrid standard kit, but the up/under'squeeze by everything cooler to inlet is a joke.
That's why I was planning to reverse my inlet, but such a pipe would make things easy.

If you make then, what price/delivery?

Graham.

I found with the hybrid there are two things that really help.
1) fit a smaller battery to prevent the TB pipe clashing with the bonnet
2) wrap the pipework where it passes by anything that gets hot!

a lot of effort to reverse the inlet, not entirely sure its worth it though

Steve,
Ahhh you sold the classic didn't you. OOps.
Phase 2 then. wedge not needed if you use a 45 degree exit off the throttle body.

Graham,
I made it, just a one off in stainless 63mm dia.
Original idea was stainless takes quite while to change temperature, so once you get it cold it stays cold.
However, now lightness needs to be thought about so an Aluminum pipe is being "chewed over". With what I have to get done in the next six weeks it's not going to get done any time soon.
