Default Help!! My car is misfiring badly

I got into my car before started her up and went out for a drive my car was spluttering very badly it seemed ok at about 2000 rpm. I let it warm up properly and then floored it in 2 nd gear and third there was absolutely no power at all felt like it had no turbo it was really misfiring so i drove it back home let her cool down and switched of the engine i checked the exhaust incase anyone stuck anything in it then checked ht leads maf sensor boost solonoid everything seemed fine and iam going to have a look at the lambda sensor now i cant think of anything else we have had a lot of rain over the last few days and the maf sensor was wet i wonder if that could be the problem

cheers

My 94 WRX Ra was missing a lot recently just after a service brought it to my local scooby specialist and it was the plugs, got them changed and it runs as sweet as a nut!!

Sounds similar to my problem. Havent figured out the cause yet but when i started it back up again it was fine and its only misfired a couple of times badly since. I know i have a knackered throttle position sensor which i have ordered, but i dont think that sensor would cause a misfire on one cylinder.
