Default intercooler change

hello

I have a my94 wrx wagon, the engine is pretty much standard apart from a panel filter.

I have been offered an intercooler from a version 1 sti type ra. if I fit it will it make any difference?

cheers

I don't think there is a great difference between them.. you would be better fitting a 97/98 intercooler..

the inlet manifold and throttle body position on your car limit you slightly with top mount intercooler space but the 97/98 should squeese in.
