If you manage to break one without doing a rally, or being a complete tit, then your doing well.
We have only had syncro or fork problems like John has said.
David Wallis had one in his car (560+bhp and 490+lbft) for a few years, with probably 50+ full on drag runs, including flat changes. Only problem is one syncro

jb's was not flatshifted to 5th as it was the longest change . I had tried it with mine and decided against flatshifting to 5th so did not waste time trying it with his.
his 5th had felt off for some time before it failed and we had changed the oil to try and help iirc. the UK 6speeds have plastic fork pads that get easily damaged , JDM have bronze I understand that are much better.
driving like a tit wont help any box just make for more fun before the failure
