Default Which Turbo?? VF22 or VF35? edit. VF22 or TD05 16g

I've got a VF22 in the shed but I've also got the chance to get a VF35..
I know the VF35 will need "adjusting" for front entry but would it be a better turbo than the 22?

Car spec..
MY99 UK spec car.

K&N 57i
3" Scorpion turbo back system.
Front mount.
Apexi AVC-r

Runs very rich according to AFR gauge so I don't think fuelling will be an issue.

Currently running 1.2bar boost and making 274bhp on a TD04.

I want driveable but would like circa 320-340 bhp..

I'm just worried about the VF22 being too laggy. Would the TD05 be better?

And how much to get the TD05 altered to front entry?

you trying to catch that scooby dazza geezer at haynes ?

iirc the vf35 will bolt straight onto the 98uk
make sure you get it mapped properly though as your popping and banging far too much

the 35 will spool better than the 22 IMO

VF35 all the way, spools very quickly with the P15 exhaust housing and good for 340 ish

Yeah Daz. I reckon with the missing 70 horses I'd have been alot closer to you )

The TD05 in questions definately got the 90° bend so won't bolt straight on ;o(

Best find a way round that....

As for the banging and popping, thats just too much fuel..
Just had a blast down some country roads and I love watching the scenery light up when I lift off )

What an ****.

It's not a VF35, it's a TD05 16g..

Talk about a mistake!!

I am due to run at Alans so I'll see you there.
And we'll have a chat about mikalor type clamps..
